My Day

We had lunch with my parents to celebrate my birthday and my dad's four days earlier. I got a cute card and we had apple pie and ice-cream back at their house. It was a good day!

Cassie drew a leaf in her art class and then gave it to me for my birthday.
I got notes from the seminary classes that made my day. Thanks Heather for making that happen. 

I got tickets from Jon for the whole family to go see West Side Story. " I like my life in America"




What a wonderful day. Cassie made a huge sign for the dining area that said Happy 31st birthday. She is pretty smart.  I got sweet text messages on my phone from Jenna,  Joni, Jackie, Maggie, Becca, Amy, Lara, Jessica, Janeil and Natascha. Shane gave away his chocolate covered strawberry that Brother Harris made. I got phone calls from Kathy, Rachel and Carly. So many wishes at church and lots of old friends wished me happy birthday on my Facebook wall. Most days I prefer to be a wallflower and just blend into life but yesterday was such a nice reminder that I have so many people to love in my life. I am so lucky!
