This was so much fun and a new tradition for our family!
How could we like this "airy" place?
For it took one son far away
But we remember it brought another son home
And both will return, for always to stay.
A running track is not quite right
To represent this job well done
But practice was vital for a complete success
For three daughters who traveled 13.1.
Sisters and friends were there for the "yes"
But numbers dwindled as months slipped away
For lace and veil and dress now hers
Purchased from a red brick church in May.
To a holy place we sang a song
Many times as we drove past it's spire
Finally we entered through it's fine glass doors
With three children who had come to inquire.
With chaos and worry , we looked for our Rachel
Cell service was jammed and connection was doubtful
But thanks to the "provider" of all of our lines
We heard her voice and could again be joyful!
Knees , cancers and necks oh my
Can be fixed by a medical team
But only in this place will you find the correct drugs
To keep our dear dad from a scream!
Nearly a year past "the age" Cassie got the ID
With new GPA now to show
She has proven her place behind the wheel
And has many more places left to go.
All siblings came to see her
In the mountains this year
But a brother especially loved
Her visit while he was here.
He did it.
Now find a flag and with hand over heart
Recite the nation pledge
Which now he's a part.
