I knew my visit in Michigan was coming to a close. It had been a calm and sweet summer visiting the Nicklin family in Howell. I went up the beginning of June and then after being back in humid St. Louis went back for another visit. During some of the time I was there I had a chance to drive the back roads alone and fell in love with scenery and wide planted fields.
On one of my last days there I asked Amy if she wanted to get up to see the sunrise with me?
When we finally left after she brushed her teeth and hair ( AHHHHH) we drove out of the town and discovered a fog that was settled into the low areas. It seemed surreal and the beauty was just what my heart needed.
