Finally a real summer vacation...
1. Sitting on the deck with my parents looking over the lake...laughing.
2. Boating and tubing all day. Jumping in for a quick swim while switching tubers.
3. Anchoring boat and swimming in the lake...ahhhhh.
4. No phone calls. Heaven.
5. Porch swings. One swing crashed to the ground with Jackie, Jenna and Carly on it but there were more swings.
6. Gentle breezes.Low humidity. Blue skies. Perfect clouds.
7. Feeding ducks. Jackie named her ducks Murray and Lester. They told more ducks about the free bread crumbs and there was a crowd by week's end.
8. Sleeping in.
9. A room alone with Jon.
10. All my kids (plus 2) are with me. We love having Jackie and David with us!
11. Laughing at Carly about her fear of seaweed.
12. No laundry or chores.
13. Cribbage with Rachel...a never-ending competition.
14. David's guitar.
15. Jenna's forever funny antics about how I quit loving her 12 years ago.
16. Cassie learning to skip rocks. Collecting shells and playing with all the neighbor's dogs in and out of the water.
17. Shane's buff swimming bod and trying to jump onto surfing board from the dock.
2 days left....can't get enough of this R & R!
