Another Candle on the Cake

JENNA DOES THIS FUNNY DANCE THAT LEAVES US ALL LAUGHING. IF THE WHOLE PUBLIC RELATIONS THING DOESN'T WORK OUT SHE COULD DO STAND-UP.

Today is Jenna Beth's 19th birthday! She has made our home a place of excitement and fun.

I remember when she went to Michigan with Natascha Andersen to help her with her young children on the trip and I missed Jenna so much from the minute she was gone. I soon realized that in many ways she is the glue with her younger and older siblings.

I remember when Jenna learned that the money in her pocket didn't have to be spent within 24 hours of getting it. Now she has the hardest time buying anything. NOW...that only means when it is her money. She has no problem spending mine.

I remember when Jenna went to pre-school with Miss Natalie how strong and independent she was from the very first day!

I remember when she could suck both thumbs and as her mom trying to figure out how in the world I would ever get her to quit.

I remember looking into Jenna's back-pack and finding the grossest items that had been left there for possibly years.

I love Jenna's made up songs that she writes and sings impromptu with her dogs. Honestly these moments would leave a comedy club rolling on the floor.

I can have the deepest of discussions, and some with some raised voices, and have Jenna give me a hug and tell me she loves me when the discussion is over.

I remember when Jenna could sing all the Articles of Faith perfectly at the age of 4. When she recited them she had to say them to the rhythm of the song.

I remember that Jenna was never a baby...she worked so hard to keep up with her sisters.

When our family needed some help from Heaven, Jenna spoke the simplest phrase in a family prayer that I will never forget. As a five year old her words, " Please help us have peaceful hearts" changed the very minute we said "Amen" and opened our eyes.

Jenna is an amazing daughter. She has so much talent and so many strengths that I know she can do really ANYTHING she wants to do. She loves deeply and is a devoted and loyal friend. She needs only a few friends that she trusts. Jenna loves to be at home and she has made our home a wonderful place to be.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JENNA!
