Rachel loves to organize my house when she comes home. It is her way of letting me know she has been here. Yesterday, as she gutted my tiny pantry, she found at the bottom 2 gingerbread houses , unassembled, waiting for a construction crew. Late last night we divided the family in two teams and went to work. Some of us had trouble with even gluing the roof together while others had perfect rows of evenly piped frosting. The same perfect piping team had evenly spaced pretzels for a fence and little people lined up in a perfect row. The not-so even crew piped questionable shapes on the roof and stuck the two small children on the top of the roof. In an amazing turn of events...when both teams were done...it began to snow in my kitchen!
Chrismas is just magical that way. Especially when we are all together.

Those are adorable. Cali and Dorian made houses at THanksgiving and it was eaten the next morning. HOt glue and all. (Trish hot glued them together and that still didn't stop Cali)
