A Quarter of a Century Later

Twenty-five years ago I married Jon. When I think of all that has passed some of it seems like someone else lived it and I am a bystander in my own memories. In other memories it seems like I am still there only to snap back to reality and find that that memory was such a long time ago.

There is no doubt that I have regrets and things I would change if I could but there is definitively no doubt that I am married to my best friend. There is no doubt that I am happy and there is no question about where I hope to be for the next 25 years.
Happy Anniversary to me and Jon. It's a great day.

Congratulations -- thrilled for both of you! You are an exemplary couple. It really is a long time, isn't it?! How many other people do you keep in touch with that you've know for 25+ years?!
