When we pulled into the church parking lot I had my reading glasses on and when I went to pull them off they broke, split between the two lenses! I figured I could make it with squinting for my Sunday School Class just for the day. I entered the building and we sat down in our row. We were early, so we listened to the primary kids from another ward practice for their program. I settled in, got comfortable and then I stretched out my legs and looked down at my feet. There on my left foot was a brown shoe with a pointy toe with alligator texture and on my right foot was a brown shoe with square toe, small tied bow and no texture.
I had failed to put on matching shoes!!!
I left giggling and showing anyone who passed me in the hall what I had done. It's nice to give people a laugh.
While I was home I grabbed the correct shoe and a pair of unbroken eye-glasses.
I drove back to church and got into the chapel in time for the opening prayer with the wardrobe malfunctions of the day remedied.
On a better note.... I sure have beautiful children! ( only 3 pictured here)
