Happy Days

There was a story on the news this morning on happiness. 


The biggest contributors to happiness are:


1. Being religious


     i know who i am, i know God's plan.


  i'm a mom, a wife, a student, a photographer, 
  a volunteer, a seminary teacher and i'm a 
  mormon.




2. Working toward a goal


     today i may  be a good photographer but   
  tomorrow I will be a
  better one.


  weight watchers again...ugh


  finishing the book of mormon in 90 days


  
3. Having good relations with family or friends


    to jon, rachel, carly, jenna, shane, cassie, mom, dad, john, amy,
  lara, steve, stephen, bentley, ben, aubrey, josh, anna, grant,
  kathy, mike, janeil, jackson, joni laury, reed, megan, sage,     
  blake,kenzi, allie beth, tanner...I love you all! 


4. Giving money or help to others.


    when i give of my time to read with first graders or pay my  
  tithing or help a friend I am whole again. the feelings    
  associated with giving are indescribable. 




Soooooo.... happiness is not found 


 in chocolate- sniff sniff


 in money


 in shopping


It is in the things of the soul...lasting and eternal.




but, i still really want chocolate in heaven.
