Keep Your Clothes On Please

I was recently asked to lecture in a Graphic Design class at St. Louis Community College. My assignment was to tell the class how I make people comfortable in a photo shoot and give the students ideas of processes I use in a photo shoot. As I formulated my thoughts I began to think it would be a good idea to invite my friend Alma. So early one morning as I felt very certain that I should invite her I sent her a  text when I was sitting in Seminary. Alma generously accepted with one stipulation;

                                    "As long as it's not a nude drawing class"

I laughed because we all know that I would NOT accept a lecture if there was anyone naked near by. So yesterday we lectured and did a great job. Alma is a great side-kick for me. As we finished giving our points the instructor thanked us and then, as understood, we went out with some of the students to take pictures. Mike gave us an overview of some of the classes that we could photograph...first one on the list was figure drawing class, where there was one nude person modeling. I could not look at Alma because I knew I would start laughing. Seriously?!

                                    Would she take the nudey class? or would I?

I quickly took my group of students out the door and past the figure drawing class. Alma, great problem solver that she is, sent in one willing male student while she waited outside. She is one smart girl!

I just love Alma. It was a great experience. The end.

After viewing some of the drawings posted outside the classroom I was quite certain I was not going in the room. Eventhough the light was dim and the music was soft the thought of seeing old moobs and a shriveled tree stump with lots of leaves and moldy plums was an image i didn't want stuck in my head. knowing me I would have giggled and starting singing Wiggle wiggle wiggle dance, I am sexy and I know it.
