Tuxedo Son

The day I took Shane to get his tuxedo for the upcoming prom was not only relaxing but it was quick! We went into the shop, pointed to styles and colors that he liked. They measured the length of his legs, arms and width of his chest. I paid the nice girl and we left.

The moment we left, I think I was in shock. It was so easy.

They were going to supply us with his shoes, his socks, shirt, tie, vest, jacket and pants. All he had to remember to do the day of prom was to brush his teeth, shower and put on his own undies. It was heavenly.

In my moment of awe, I stopped in the hall of the mall and promptly text four people... Jon, Rachel, Carly and Jenna.

"K...getting a tux takes 15 minutes with no mention of too much cleavage or leg showing and no questions like, " Do I look fat in this?"

Ugh....
I like the process of a son getting ready for prom a whole lot more than the daughter's process.

Huh...I wonder if Cassie would be cute in a tuxedo?

He looks so great! Makes me a little sad that Jake could not do this. Did he have a good time? I guess I will be glad for only one girl:)
